Skirmish has been canceled for July 24th, 2010 at the Aviary, due to inclement weather (including 94 degree weather) mixed with a heat storm. The Aviary will not be open. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You can still get your airsoft on in the Lehigh Valley at the Grid Code, or any of the other fields around the Lehigh Valley.

Open Play this Saturday at The Aviary (2401 Community Drive, Bath PA 18014) at 1PM.

The game this week is getting pushed back to the 1PM start time. There will be a linner (lunch plus dinner) break around 4PM. Games will go until everyone is tired. Make sure you have hydration. Some water and hotdogs will be fer sale there.

The usual:
Make sure you provide space for other cars to get past when you park! DO NOT block the path up the hill with yer car! You can drive up the hill and park in the D Day bunker field if you’ve got a truck or SUV.

Games of various scenarios will be organized before hand with set time limits, rules, and what not. There will also be less down time in between games so you get back to the action faster.

Games will start sooner the quicker you get you and yer gear to the top of the hill from the parking lot.

Make sure you have:

Also, make sure you have familiarized yerself with the rules (which can be found in the waiver).

Looks to be another open play at the Aviary. Most likely playing the same game types as last weekend. The day will be starting at 1PM.

Starting this weekend and continuing fer the rest of the summer, the Aviary will be opening at 2PM. This is in an attempt to beat the upcoming summer heat, as it is the hottest around 11 to 1PM (which was usually prime airsoft time). Games will go till about 6 or later, depending when everyone gets tuckered out.  If people are still around afterwards, there may be a campfire and a bit of a cookout.

Anyways, game scenarios will be planned beforehand to try to cut back on downtime. This also looks to be the last weekend for the speedball field, so bring some cqb stuff as well as yer regular stuff.

Make sure you have:
Waiver (if you haven’t filled one out for 2010 yet)
Hydration
Eye protection
and yer own gear.

Same as last week (minus the clean up part):
we still have the speedball field (which will be improved again later this week) so bring out yer pistols, shotguns, low power aegs (under 350 w/ .2′s- at least for the speedball portion), and springers. i’m sure we can do some normal skirmishes later in the woods with the normal fps limits.

there’ll be snacks and drinks for sale at the aviary (ho-ho’s, twinkies, hot tamales, cream pies, chips, soda, water…) and the cookout will most likely be hotdogs.

what to bring:
speedball guns (under 350 w/ .2′s)
normal guns
springer guns (especially fer speedball)
bb’s
eye protection
hydration
some pocket change (fer snacks, cookout, field donation…)
and a 2010 waiver for those who have not filled one out yet.

day starts at 10.30.

we will be chrono-ing all the guns for the day (with the new d day deux chrono) so if yer gun is shootin over 400fps, yer not using it.

fps limits:
under 350 w/ .2′s fer speedball field
under 400 w/ .25′s fer normal field
